Girls victorious in quarter final
Well done to the girls' football team who won their quarter final today against Ashbourne Educate Together.
Starting with the win, the girls settled to the task well and roared into an early lead. A goal before half time from Larissa put them into a great position, with the half time score reading 1-5 to 0-2.
Goals in the second half from Orla, Larissa, Amelia and Sarah, couple with some great play out the field meant Kildalkey emerged victorious 5-7 to 1-5.
The girls can feel very proud of their performance and can look forward to the semi final!
Assembly
The school recently had their first assembly in the new hall.
5th Class read out the school rules and performed a song for the school, whilst we were treated to some beautiful prayers from 2nd Class.
Well done to both classes on their hard work and thanks to Miss Lynch for leading the Assembly.
Ballivor Summer Camp
This summer, Ballivor GFC are hosting a summer camp between the 25th and 27th July.
