Grandparents' Visit!
On Wednesday 29th January, Kildalkey N.S. celebrated Catholic Schools Week by inviting in grandparents from all the students in second class.


The grandparents came in their droves, delighting the students with their stories and anecdotes about what school was like in their time.

Thanks to all who came in and to those who organised the day.


Computer Classes
Computer Classes have started up in Kildalkey in our newly refurbished computer room.
Students in 3rd and 4th began their new classes today, learning about coding and what's involved.

They have been the newlaptops that were purchased with the recent ICT grant provided by the Department of Education and Skills.
All classes can look forward to using these laptops in the next few years!

People Who Share Care Presentation
Last Friday, 10th January, Mr. Fox made a presentation to Amanda Geraghty of a cheque of over €300 to People Who Share Care.
Before Christmas, the school held a no uniform day to raise funds for the homeless, bringing in €2 each.
Amanda thanked the school for their generous contribution and commended their ongoing support towards the homeless.
Well done to the school on their great fundraising!!

4th Class Assembly
Well done to the 4th class and their teacher, Mrs. Donnelly, on their recent school assembly.

They performed a beautiful Christmas medley and the Christmas alphabet, as well as a Christmas prayer.

Well done to the fourth class and best of luck to Mrs. Donnelly who will be leaving us on her maternity leave. She shall be missed!
