Self - Portrait Art

The children continued to explore colour and tone this month and used water colours to create self - portraits. The children included words that describe the things they enjoy!

My Family Tree

In September the children in 2nd class explored their family trees. The children then used their handprints to create a painting of their family tree. family tree 24

Under the Sea!

The children in 2nd Class used their knowledge of colours, tones and tints to create an 'Under the Sea' picture. They also used chalk and oil pastels to add in some wonderful sea creatures that we've been learning about this month.

A Special Visit

The children in 2nd class were pleasantly surprised when theTriple Crown and 6 Nations trophy arrived to our classroom. All of the children even got to hold the trophy!
