Second Class
The Skeleton
This month in 2nd Class the children learned all about the human skeletal system. We learned about the different bones in the body and where to find them. We found out that the femur is the longest bone in the body! Take a look at our art based on the skeleton.

Autumn Art
This month we are learning all about Autumn! Having noticed the leaves changing colour and falling from the trees, the children collected the leaves and conkers and turned them into art. Take a look at our squirrels below.

First Holy Communion
The children received the sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday 7th May. They have been preparing all year and tehir hard work paid off. They were exceptional and made the school and community proud. We had a last practice in the church on Thursday and stopped off in the Coffee Yard for a treat, a massive thank you to Emma Fagan who generously treated the children to reward them for all their hard work.
