The School Meets the Cup!

After Kildalkey's terrific win last Sunday, the school got the chance to meet the Cup with some of the members of the team.
Unfortunately, celebrations had to be tempered a little due to COVID, but a few members of the panel along with Gary, the captain, and Pat, the manager, came along to say a few words to each class.

Thanks to all for coming in today and well done to the team.

It was a terrific win and we in Kildalkey N.S. are both delighted and proud to see so many past pupils involved.

Shoebox Collection

The Shoeboxes were collected today to be sent to the Hope organisation to go those in need.
Again, the parents and students of Kildalkey NS surpassed themselves with the most beautifully presented and filled boxes. In total, 93 boxes were sent to the Hope Organisation.
Well done to all involved!!
Kildalkey GAA Day
Kildalkey NS will hold a Blue/White or Kildalkey Day on Friday, 19th November.
In preparation for the County final against Kiltale next Sunday, all students are invited to wear in Kildalkey gear or blue and white clothes.

We wish Kildalkey all the best in the final and in particular, our past students on the panel - of which there are many!
Road Safety
The school recently a visit from the Gardai re Road Safety and Cyberbullying.
The school would like to thank Garda Edel Dugdale, Community Police Officer from Trim Garda Station for visiting the school.

Garda Dugdale visited the 4th, 5th and 6th classes and talked about a range of issues, including road safety for cyclists and walkers, cyber safety and bullying.

It was very information and all 3 classes learned a lot.
The Parents' Association have also donated hi-vis vests to the school, enforcing the need for high visibility on our roads when walking or cycling to school.

Thank you to the Parents' Association and to Garda Dugdale.
