3rd 4th Class Football Match
Well done to the third and fourth class football team who played their first game against Scoil Naomh Eoin last Thursday, 10th November.
In what was a great contest, Conor's goal just after half time put Kildalkey in the ascendancy. But goals from Scoil Naomh Eoin shaded the contest.

Well done to all the footballers on what was a great day's football!
Girls' Strong Start
Well done to the girls' football who got their football campaign started with a good win away to Ard Rí!
The girls played very well and can be delighted with their strong start.
We look forward to playing Ashbourne next week.

Community Games Winners
Well done to the recent winners in the Community Games events.
Kildalkey had many people participating in the games and had many winners after!
Well done to all the participants and all the winners!

Thanks also to Caroline for coming in to present the medals.
Well done James!!
Well done to James, who recently represented not only his school, but his county, in Croke Park!

At half time in the Wexford and Tipperary All Ireland semi final, James played in the Wexford colours, getting on lots of ball and doing him and his school proud.
James was there as a result of him being selected after Kildalkey N.S. won the Mini 7s Hurling competition this year.
Well done James!!
Cumann na mBunscol Finals 2019
Well done to the boys and girls who qualified for the Cumann na mBunscol finals last Saturday, 15th June.
The girls had beaten Boardsmill well and were playing in their second consecutive final. Goals from Anna (2) in the first half meant that they went in only 2 down after playing against a very stiff breeze. When Ellen goaled and Amy struck over a glorious point, hopes were high that the double could be completed. However, Boyerstown finished the stronger and late goal meant they were the victors, 6-3 to 3-2.

Hard luck to the girls who had a great year. They can feel very proud of their performance on the day and indeed, throughout the year.
The boys went into their final having lost to Trim twice during the year. A great start with a goal and a point from James put them into the ascendancy early on. A further free from James and a monster point from Conor B meant Kildalkey went into the lead 1-3 to 0-2 at half time.
The second half was a battle with Kildalkey trying desperately to hold out. Incredible defensive work meant they held fast. However, a goal from a free (rebound) meant with ten minutes left, there was only one point in it, 1-4 to 1-3. However, the boys showed what they were made of and held fast. When James broke free to fire over a point with a minute remaining, the boys had their title!

Well done to the boys on a tremendous victory. Afterwards, James and Jamie accepted the cup and then it was back to the school where the Parents' Association put on food for both teams. Well done all!
