Mini 7s Hurling Champions 2025

Kildalkey N.S. Mini 7s Hurling team created a little bit of history by winning the Meath Mini 7s Hurling Competition for the third year in a row.

In a tough group with Baconstown, Cannistown and Kiltale, Kildalkey made light of the awful conditions with some superb performances. They came from behind to beat Baconstown by a solitary point, with Oisín's last second score proving to be the winner.

A tight struggle with Kiltale saw them edge Kiltale by a single point. This was notable for the horrific conditions the boys had to endure but they came up trumps by a single point. The last game saw them take on Cannistown and they saved their best performance for last with some superb scores throughout securing the win.

Mini 7s Camogie Finals 2025

Well done to the Mini 7s Camogie team who this year finished runners up in the Meath County finals.

On a bitterly cold day, they defeated Gaelscoil na Cille by a solitary point before two late points from Elsie and Anna saw them defeat a strong Kilmessan outfit.

That saw them through to a final against Kiltale. Strong performances from the team saw them piut up a brave challenge but ultimately Kiltale proved the stronger outfit. Scores from Elsie saw them lose narrowly and credit needs to go to Aoife in goals who pulled out some superb saves to keep Kildalkey in it.

EMW

Éabha-Marie played in Croke Park on Sunday, 20th July at half time in the All Ireland hurling final.

Éabha-Marie played for Cork and was midfield (and goalkeeper) for the day.

She was representing her county on the back of the girls' Mini 7s team winning the Mini 7s this year.

Well done Éabha-Marie - hopefully it won't be her last day representing her county in Croke Park.

Here she is pictured with her Mini 7s coach, Miss McGowan!

Mini 7s Boys' Football

Well done to the boys' Mini 7s footballers who competed strongly at the Mini 7s today.

In a tough group, they had 3 very tight games. They defeated Coole and Kiltale before succumbing to Moynalvey in an enthralling game.

The boys can hold their heads up very high after participating some very high standard games.
