School Quiz 2021
Our School Quiz was held on Monday 17th May this year.
It was held over the Intercom and via PowerPoints to account for COVID!
Classes from 3rd to 6th class all took part in the quiz.
Our overall winners with an impressive score of 70 were Conor, Lucas and Daire from 5th class and Sarah and Tara from 6th class.
Well done to both teams! They were presented with their prizes this week.

Please contact the school if you have any questions regarding same.

New School Playground
New School Playground
A new school playground was installed in our Junior Yard during the Easter holidays.

This consists of a sort surface play area with swing, playhouse with slide and climbing frame.

The children are getting great use out of this and are delighted with its installation.

Many thanks to Damien Corrigan and Martin Kelly for their high quality work on these.
Tarmac

The basketball courts have been upgraded by installing tarmacadam surface where there was previously grass. This has greatly benefited our students by reducing the amount of muck in this area and increasing the size of their play area as a result.

Geodesic dome

The new geodesic dome has been installed in the school garden. This will provide an activity space for the pupils for planting, reading or just enjoying our outdoors sensory garden area.

We rely on your generous support on our current sponsored run in order to pay for these projects. Thanks to all for their help and we know these are great additions to the school and will provide great enjoyment for the students in our school.
