Active Schools Week
The students had great fun this week with Active Schools Week.

They enjoyed dance classes, races, fitness classes, walks, penalty shoot outs amongst many activities during the week.

We were very lucky to have Corona put on dance classes for the school and also to have Eimear, who put on fitness classe for the students - and the staff!

Well done to all involved on making it such a successful Active Schools Week!

Cycle Training Scheme
Kildalkey N.S. has been staging a course in Cycling Safety School recently.

The Parents' Association has subsidised the costs of the course, which was supported by the Department of Transport, the RSA and Meath LSP.
The 3rd class have been having great fun learning about road safety and the rules of cycling.

Well done to all who took part and thank you to the Parents' Association for helping organise the training and funding it.
July Provision 2022

Please note Kildalkey N.S. will be providing July Provision for the two Special Needs classes from June 29th until July 12th.
Parents of all other mainstream pupils should refer to the Department of Education website for more details.
First Communion
The First Communion took place last Saturday, 7th May.
In what was a beautiful ceremony, our second class candidates all received their first holy communion. Congratulations to all.
Afterwards, they had a reception in the hall, organised by the Parents' Association. It was the first time since 2019 that we were able to have one and it was very well received. Many thanks to all the parents who contributed confectionary and treats!
Thanks to Mrs. Tuite and Pauline for organising the class. A big thank you also to Angie for all her hard work behind the scenes. Not to mention Miss Kelly for her beautiful singing during the ceremony.
Thanks to Fr. Mark for his part in the ceremony and a huge thank you to the Parents' Association for their organising of the beautiful reception afterwards.
And finally, well done to all the students of second class!!
