Turning on the lights!
Well done to Rían in 4th class who helped turn on the Christmas lights in the village last Thursday, 8th December.
Rían helped turned on the lights for the Christmas celebrations in Kildalkey. You'll see them by the Parochial House and also across from the hairdressers in Kildalkey.
Rían was asked to be one of the main participants on the evening as he has been a shining example of strong community spirit for the village. He has shown such kindness and thoughtfulness in all the amazing fundraising events, he has been key in organising for so many well deserving causes. He’s a credit to his family, friends and the community.
Well done Rían!

Rían was then pictured helping to sell the Community Calendars after!
Christmas Craft Fair Success
The Christmas Craft Fair was on 4th December 2022.

We had many different stalls throughout the day with a fantastic turnout from parents and students.

Thanks again to Angie and Martina for organising it all and thanks to all who attended the Craft Fair.

We look forward to next year's fair!

When the Team met the School!!

The Intermediate girls camogie team came into the school to meet the students on Monday 28th November.

They brought the intermediate cup in and captain Shóna Kerrigan and manager Vinnie Kavanagh spoke to the students on their achievements. They then took time to present the boys with their Cumann na mBunscol medals!

Afterwards, they visited each class, giving the students autographs and speaking to each class and answering their many, many questions!

Thanks to the girls for taking the time to come into the school. Each of the girls was a past students, some of whom were lucky to win medals with the school, some of whom weren't!

They are an inspiration and hopefully will be back in the school celebrating more trophies very soon!!

Christmas Craft Fair 2022

Spirit of the Final

Well done to Kealan who won the Spirit of the Final award from the Meath Chronicle for his performance in the Cumann na mBunscol final last weekend.
The Spirit of the Final award rewards those who display qualities of determination, motivation, character and skill - and Kealan showed that in abundance in his performance in the final.
Kealan received his award from Meath manager Colm O'Rourke in a beautiful ceremony held in Dunganny.
Well done Kealan!!
