School Day Schedule
At Kildalkey National School, we aim to provide a calm, organised and welcoming start to each day for all pupils. Clear routines and consistent procedures help children feel safe, settled and ready to learn throughout the school day.
9.20 a.m.
School day begins. Children enter through their designated doors and are welcomed by staff members.
9.30 a.m.
School doors close. Children arriving after this time should enter through the main entrance.
11.00 a.m. – 11.15 a.m.
Morning break.
12.30 p.m. – 1.00 p.m.
Lunch break.
2.00 p.m.
Junior and Senior Infants finish school and are collected from the P.E. Hall doors.
3.00 p.m.
School day ends for pupils from 1st to 6th Class. Children are dismissed through their designated doors.
We appreciate the support and cooperation of parents and guardians in helping to maintain these routines each day. Working together ensures a positive, safe and settled learning environment for all children in our school community.
