About Kildalkey National School
Kildalkey National School is a welcoming and inclusive primary school where every child is valued and supported to reach their full potential. We pride ourselves on creating a positive, caring environment where children feel happy, safe, and motivated to learn.
Our school community works in partnership with parents to support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. We encourage respect, kindness, and confidence, helping pupils to grow not only as learners, but as individuals.
Our modern school building, opened in 2018, provides a bright and well-equipped learning environment. With spacious classrooms, a P.E. hall, outdoor play areas, and excellent facilities, we are well positioned to offer a broad and engaging curriculum.

Our Ethos
Kildalkey National School is committed to fostering:
- A caring and inclusive environment
- Respect for all members of our school community
- A love of learning
- The holistic development of every child
- Positive relationships between school, home, and community

Our History
Kildalkey has a long tradition as a place of learning and community. Our original school building, opened in 1931, served generations of families before the development of our current school.
Our patron saint is St. Dympna, whose name and legacy remain an important part of our school identity.
