School Charges

Kildalkey NS would like to break down where the different charges are going this year from the Parental Charge.

This money will be used to fund the following:

Ø  Art & Craft materials.

Ø  Homework Journals

Ø  SALF Folders

Ø  Photocopying/newsletters/ printing

Ø  Tutor fees for Coding classes, Drama classes, Dance classes.

Ø  Text –a-Parent

Ø  Computers & IT costs

Ø  First Aid Supplies

Ø  Medals

Ø  Rewards

Ø  Art/music/displays for Special school events.

Ø  Science Equipment

Ø  Maths Resources

Ø  P.E. Equipment

Ø  Library books/Online Books and Resources.

Ø  Teaching equipment

Ø  Postage

Ø  Subsidy for buses

Ø  Permanent Art Displays

Ø  Sports Day activities

Ø  Online Curriculum

Ø  School Garden

Ø  Speech and Drama

Ø  Prizes

Ø  Subsidy for Graduation Hoodie.

Ø  Special events such as communion/confirmation.

Please note that this is a relatively small amount that we ask for and we rely on your co – operation and support for school charges and fundraising to meet costs.

Welcome Back to School

Well done to all students on their return to school. The students and school have settled back in well and are adapting well to the different procedures and schedules now in place.

The drop off system in the morning is working well. However, we'd like to remind and ask parents not to congegrate in groups if at all possible.

The school is supplying hand sanitizer for all staff and students. Any pupil using their own sanitizer will need to let the school know in writing.

The students are doing great work in school - long may it last!
