Well done to our hurling team who have had a very positive beginning to the Cumann na mBunscol hurling.
This year, the hurling is being played in September and October, as opposed to May and June.
On Monday, 12th September, a depleted Kildalkey travelled to Navan where they took on Cannistown. With just fourth and fifth class players, they edged the first half 1-1 to no score. Once four sixth class players joined them for the second half, Kildalkey never looked back and won on a scoreline of 3-7 to 1-0.

The following day, Kildalkey travelled to Dunboyne. Here, a powerful first half performance put them in a strong position. The introduction of fourth and fifth class subs did not hinder the team in any way and they won well for a finish. Well done to Kildalkey on a very positive start to the Cumann na mBunscol competitions in Autumn 2016!
