Semi Final Victory

Well done to the boys' football teams who have made it to the Division Two football final.

Playing a superb Kentstown outfit, they put in a great first half performance but went in at the break behind by four points. When Kentstown came out and scored 1-2 without reply, it didn't look good for Kildalkey. 

However, these boys are made of stern stuff. Goals from Caemerhon, Brandon and Charlie put them a point up. When Kentstown rallied to go up again by a point, Brandon came down the field to get the winning goal. There was still time for Kentstown to have one last attack but their effort for a levelling score just went the wrong side of the post.

This will be Kildalkey's first ever Division Two football final. It will be played on June 10th in Páirc Tailteann. The very best of luck to them on that day.
