Well done Caoimhe and Laoise!!

Two girls from Kildalkey N.S. represented Meath at the weekend.

Caoimhe and Laoise played for one of four Meath team playing four Louth teams.

The competition was hosted by Cumann na mBunscol An Lú and Cumann na mBunscol An Mhí organised four teams from all the schools in Meath.

The team Caoimhe and Laoise were on, Meath Newgrange, won all four of their group games - one courtesy of a brilliant last minute save from Laoise, and then faced the top team from Louth in the final. A great performance in the final saw them win the competition outright!

Laoise was on hand to accept the trophy on behalf of her team after and on behalf of Meath.

Well done to both girls on a great performance in a Meath jersey!
