Senior Infants
October
Our learning wall this month-we love our witches and wizards hats!

We talked lots about Autumn this month; we went on a nature walk around our school identifying signs of Autumn and looked at lots of different types of leaves. We looked at the poem Dingle Dangle Scarecrow and made our very own scarecrows!
One of our topics in maths this month was 2d shapes and we were very creative with our 2d shape monsters!

For the month that's in it, we enjoyed learning all about bats! We learned that the saying 'as blind as a bat' has no truth and really enjoyed painting our bat pictures for Hallowe'en!

Welcome to Senior Infants!
We've been very busy in Senior Infants during the month of September. One of our topics was 'school' and we worked in small groups to create a mini-project on our school community. One of our stories for the month was Elmer and we really brightened up our hallway with our sponge Elmer paintings.

A visit from from Dale
We were very lucky to have a visit from Dale at the beginning ofSeptember and he brought two very special visitors! We listened to Dale read his book 'Harry the Hedgehog' and even watched as Sonic and Geronimo devoured a breakfast treat!
