Caring for New Life

Over the past few weeks, our class explored the theme Caring for New Life through the study of plants and babies. The children learned that all living things need care, time and the right conditions to grow. We planted seeds in the polytunnel and the children enjpyed observing changes each day and took responsibility for watering and checking on their plants.

We also talked about how babies grow and the care they need. They roactuced being gentle, responsible and kind, showing understanding that new life depends on us for support.
