Patterns in our school environment
We learned about patterns in our school environment. We went on a pattern hunt and found lots of interesting patterns in our school. We collected some natural materials and used them to create our own natural patterns.

We attended a Science Foundation Ireland webinar to celebrate Science Week. We learned lots about the theme regeneration and composting.
We also completed our own experiments:
What happens to gummy bears when you put them in different liquids?
Does hot air rise?
How important are clean hands?
Credit Union Winners
Credit Union Art Competition Winners
Comhghairdeas Tatum and Luke on winning the Credit Union art competitions for their categories.
The boys collected their prizes from the Credit Union last weekend and are excited to create more pieces of art.
Well done to both Tatum and Luke - we are very proud of them!
Halloween Dress Up First Class 2024
We had great fun on the last part of this term with our Halloween dress up event. We had a special assembly on Friday morning where the children took part in a costume parade.

We have been learned all about different animals this month in all our subjects.
To celebrate the animals in the field next to our school we drew cow portraits. They look super!
