March Madness (Seachtain na Gaeilge)

In March we learned about the story of St. Patrick.

We did lots of Art, including using bell peppers to make shamrock prints.

We learned all about Irish instruments and were so lucky that Conor from 4th Class performed for us on the accordion (bosca ceoil) and even let us have a go! We also practiced the bodhrán with Mr. Conneely.

We took part in the Céilí Mór with 2nd and 3rd Class and got dressed up for our Seachtain na Gaeilge performances on Lá Glás.

World Book Day 2025

Féileacáin had a great time picking up new books at the Used Book Sale and dressing up as their favourite characters including Shrek, the Queen of Hearts, Ron Weasley and a boy from the Polar Express.

February Fun

Féileacáin made some lovely collages for Valentine's Day, practicing their cutting and sticking skills.

We worked on improving our hand hygiene and did some washing fun activities with soap in the tuff tray.

We are also loving our new sensory wheel.

January Pictures

Féileacáin had a very busy January. Sophia and Kyle were brilliant as bears in the school musical. We did lots of Art, inlcuding potato printing. We also learned the story of St. Brigid and added St. Brigid's Cloak art to our Religion Area.
