Active Schools Week - Friday
Friday, the last day of Active Schools Week, saw the entire school go on a collective walk.

What was estimated to be 5 kilometres in distance was covered by all classes from Junior Infants to 6th class.

On what was a relatively warm day, the classes left the school at 11.20, went up through the Meadows, down by Wood Lane, through the heart of the village to the back GAA pitch and then back to the school via Wood Lane.

All enjoyed the walk and the break from the usual academic subjects. Well done all on the walk and well done all on the successful week!
