Mini 7s Camogie Runners Up
Well done to our Mini 7s Camogie team who were runners up in this year's Mini 7s Camogie tournament.
Having done brilliantly to qualify, they played superbly in a cold Dunganny.
Captained superbly by Lauren, they beat Dangan, Kilmessan, overall champions Baconstown before losing in a tight game to Rathbeggan.
The girls can feel very proud of their performances, with Ruth, Daisey and Ciara to the fore in all games. The future is bright!
Well done girls and well done to coach Miss McGowan!

Anti-Bullying Art Winners
As part of our Anti-Bullying week this year, we had a little art competition.
The winners were announced by the Student Council on Friday and each winner from every class was presented with a hot chocolate voucher.

Well done all! Thank you to Mrs. Aoife Kelly and Angie for helping to organise.

- Runners / flat shoes to be worn in the senior classes.

Shoebox Appeal 2022
Well done to the students of Kildalkey N.S. who once again participated hugely to the Shoebox appeal.
The school contributed many shoeboxes, as seen in the picture.
These shoeboxes will go to those in poverty, war stricken areas, those living in areas affected by famine etc.
Thanks to Angie who once again spearheaded the drive and well done to all who participated!
Mr. Fox's Retirement
Mr. Fox retired on the 28th of October.

In light of his 13 years leading the school, the staff and students of Kildalkey N.S. held a retirement party on Thursday 27th October.

We had many performances from the different classes, the school choir and we were even given a performance by surprise guests, the Mullingar brass band, of which Mr. Fox is a part of!

Mr. Fox received a cake designed by Mrs. McKiernan. Presentations were made to Mr. Fox from the BOM, Parents' Association, ISM and staff of Kildalkey N.S. The whole event ran extremely smoothly, superbly MCed by Mrs. Aoife Kelly. We first saw a magnificent GAA dance performed by many students from the school. Later, we finished with a superb rendition of Riverdance, choreographed by Corona and Mrs. Arkins.

It was a fitting tribute to a wonderful Principal. Thank you also to Bill Sweeney who photographed and recorded everything throughout and provided us with such great memories.

Thank you for everything, Mr. Fox!
